Ketweb Home Tech
Local tech support without the hassle.
Need help with a computer, phone, Wi-Fi network, printer or other technology? Ketweb provides friendly in-home and remote technology support across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver.
At a glance
- Based in Abbotsford, visiting the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver
- Remote sessions often available the same day
- Everything explained without jargon
- The same person before, during and after the visit
Sound familiar?
Most calls start with one of these.
- “My laptop has become painfully slow.”
- “The Wi-Fi drops in half the house.”
- “I bought a new phone and my photos are still on the old one.”
- “The printer worked yesterday and will not connect today.”
- “I need my home office set up properly before Monday.”
- “My parents need someone patient to help with their tablet.”
You do not need to know what is causing it. Describing what you are seeing is enough — working out the cause is the job.
Services
What we help with.
Pick the closest match, or get in touch and describe the problem — most visits cover more than one of these anyway.
How support works
From first message to problem solved.
Four steps, no ticket numbers and no being passed between departments.
- 01
Tell us what is happening
Describe the problem in your own words. Technical detail is not required — a sentence is enough to get started.
- 02
We confirm the best way to help
Some problems are solved faster remotely, others need someone on site. We will tell you which one applies before anything is booked.
- 03
We fix it and explain it
The problem gets resolved, and you get a plain-English explanation of what went wrong so it is less likely to happen again.
- 04
You can follow up afterwards
If something related comes up after the visit, get in touch. You are dealing with the same person, not a ticket queue.
Two ways to get help
Remote when it is faster, on site when it is needed.
You will be told which one applies before anything is booked — nobody is sent out for a problem that can be solved in twenty minutes over a screen share.
Remote support
A secure screen-sharing session, often the same day.
Best for
- Software and settings problems
- Email and account access
- Slow or misbehaving computers
- Walkthroughs you want to follow along with
You stay in control and can end the session at any point.
In-home support
Someone on site where the equipment is.
Best for
- Wi-Fi coverage and dead zones
- Router, mesh and cabling work
- Printers, TVs and streaming devices
- New computer or home-office setup
Covers Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Aldergrove and Langley.
Who we help
No question is too basic.
Technology assumes you already know how it works. Most people never got that briefing, and there is nothing unusual about needing a hand with it.
- Families
- Shared computers, kids' devices, printers that everyone needs and a network that has to cover the whole house.
- Seniors
- Patient help at a comfortable pace, with written notes to keep and honest advice about scams and safety.
- People working from home
- Monitors, docks, meeting audio and a connection reliable enough that video calls are not an event.
- Anyone moving or setting up a new home
- Internet, network, TVs and office equipment installed and configured properly the first time.
- People helping a parent
- You do not have to be the family IT department. We can take over the setup and the follow-up questions.
- Students and professionals
- A laptop that has to keep working, backups that actually run, and data moved safely to a new machine.

Do you come to my home, or is the help remote?
Both. Software, email, account and settings problems are usually resolved faster over a secure remote session. Wi-Fi coverage, networking, printers, TVs, smart-home devices and anything involving physical equipment are better handled in person.
I am not sure what is actually wrong. Can I still get help?
Yes — describing the symptom is enough. "It is slow", "it keeps disconnecting" or "it stopped working after an update" gives us plenty to start with. Diagnosing the cause is part of the job.
Which areas do you cover?
In-home visits are based out of Abbotsford and cover Mission, Chilliwack, Aldergrove, Langley and Metro Vancouver, with the wider Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland available on request. Remote support is available anywhere.
Will you explain what you did?
Always, and without jargon. If it helps, we will leave written notes covering what changed and what to do if the same thing happens again.
Can you help set up a new computer or phone from scratch?
Yes. That includes transferring your files, photos, contacts and messages from the old device, signing you back into your accounts, reinstalling the software you use and making sure backups are switched on.
Tell us what is going wrong.
A sentence is enough. You will get an honest answer about whether it is a quick remote fix or something that needs a visit.
